Partners met on 16-17 January in Bristol, United Kingdom, to set up the first project steps.
The agenda of the meeting over the two days was as follows:
- Introductory talks by each partner: showcasing each institution/ company, their activities and their relation to SMARTsurg
- Overview of administration, coordination and financial matters
- Project overview and activities
- Brainstorming and discussion over the 3 user-case studies (urology, cardiology and orthopaedic soft tissue surgery) and requirements gathering
- Plan for following meetings and discussion regarding the ERF 2017 workshop organised by partners of SMARTsurg to showcase the project and its vision
